IVR 3D Secure provides an additional layer of security when you use your HDFC Bank Credit or Debit Card to transact over an Interactive Voice Response System or mobile application at a merchant outlet.

To authenticate a transaction, you must enter a password that you can generate instantly via an SMS or through the HDFC Bank website. It protects your Debit or Credit Card from being misused.

Features Of IVR 3D Secure

Your IVR 3D Secure password is valid for a maximum of three attempts (both successful and unsuccessful) and a duration of two hours. After that, you must generate a fresh one for new transactions.

It takes less than a minute to generate an 3D Secure password and is instantly delivered to your phone.

You can generate an IVR password by sending an SMS ‘PWD1234’ (the last 4 digits of your HDFC Bank Credit Card Number) to 9717465555 or to 5676712 from registered mobile number (RMN). You can also generate it through the HDFC Bank website.
