Steps to initiate payment

A. Steps to generate your payment ID

  • Go to or visit your respective university website for accessing the payment link of Flywire (Note: Student may also receive an email with the Payment link from university to proceed with the payment)
  • Enter/Select the University name
  • Select the Country (India) & Amount in foreign currency 
  • Select HDFC Bank, enter Payer’s details and Student information
  • Review the details and click next to generate Payment ID (You will be now directed to HDFC Bank’s Web page to complete your payment)

B. Complete your payment securely

  • Enter registered mobile number & DOB (as mentioned in your Account held with HDFC Bank)
  • Enter OTP received on your registered mobile number to complete validation
  • Select the Account to be debited & click on Continue
  • Enter the Correspondent Bank Charges to be borne by and Source of funds (If source of funds is selected as ‘Education loan’, student has to mandatorily upload ‘Education Loan agreement’ or ‘Disbursement Letter’ along with Bank Statements displaying proof of education loan amount being credited)
  • Accept Terms & Conditions and Enter HDFC Bank Net Banking Password to authorise account debit.

You will be redirected to Flywire Page confirming your transaction request being placed and will receive subsequent communication on your registered Email ID on payment being processed.
