1. What are Giftplus prepaid Cards used for?
Gift Cards can be used as a convenient gifting option or for personal spending. This prepaid giftplus cards can be issued during birthdays, anniversaries, weddings and festivals etc. The card can be issued by the corporates to their employee as gift or incentives. They can be redeemed at specific retailers for purchases, making them a convenient way to shop for gifts.


2. What's the cap on loading funds to the Giftplus Prepaid Card
Gift Cards are offered with a range of values. You can load an amount ranging from Rs 500 to Rs 10,000 on the Gift Card, making it a flexible and customisable gifting option to suit your budget and preferences. 


3. What is the tenure of the Giftplus Prepaid Card? 
Your Giftplus Prepaid Card remains active for three years, retaining its validity until the final working day of the month mentioned on your card.


4. Where does the Giftplus Prepaid Card find its utility? 
Your card is your passport to a wide array of services and products, valid at all merchant outlets for in-store or online purchases, including shopping, dining, travel, bill settlements, entertainment, and more.

5. How can one administer the Giftplus Prepaid Card? 
Administer your card with ease via our Prepaid Card NetBanking Portal. Track your balance, peruse your transaction history, manage your spending limits and alter your PIN to secure your card.


6. How do we update the Giftplus Prepaid Card's password? 
Simply sign in to our Prepaid Card NetBanking portal, navigate to 'Manage My Profile,' select 'Change Password,' and follow the prompts to ensure your credentials are up-to-date.


7. Are transaction alerts provided for the Giftplus Prepaid Card? 
Each transaction triggers an alert to your registered mobile number, and you can also monitor activity anytime via the Prepaid Card NetBanking Portal.​​​​​​​

8. What steps should be taken if the card is misplaced or stolen? 
If your card ever falls into the wrong hands, promptly block it through the Prepaid Card Net Banking Portal under Account TAB >> Block lost/Stolen card or contact our Phone Banking service at 1800 1600/1800 2600 for immediate assistance.

9. What should one do if they detect unauthorized transactions? 
Should you notice any transactions that weren't authorized by you, it's crucial to inform HDFC Bank without delay and have your card blocked or hotlisted to prevent further misuse. You can do so by contacting our Phone Banking service at 1800 1600/1800 2600


10. How can I change my demographic details?

Don't worry! We're here to help you update your details quickly and easily. 

For Mobile Number / Email ID: 

  1. Log In to the Prepaid Card Netbanking Portal: 

  1. Update Your Contact Information: 

  • Click on Manage My Profile. 

  • Go to Contact Information and select Edit. 

  • Enter your new mobile number or email ID and verify the changes using the OTP sent to your registered mobile number. 


Your details will be updated instantly, and you’ll receive a confirmation via SMS on your registered mobile number. Please let us know if you need assistance at any step, and we'll be happy to help. 

For Address Update: 

  1. Submit Your Application: 

  • Visit your nearest HDFC Bank branch at a time that’s convenient for you. 

  • Submit a signed application for "Change in Address" along with a documentary proof of your new address. Please bring the original documents for verification. 

We understand the importance of having your correct address on file. Your mailing address will be updated within 4 working days once we receive and verify your application and documents. Thank you for your patience and cooperation. 


11. How do I change my ATM PIN ?
After you have logged into Prepaid Card NetBanking portal, you can change your PIN using the "Account" and 'Set ATM PIN' option in the top part of the screen.

12. How can I get my card statement ?
After you have logged into Prepaid Card NetBanking portal
•    Select option "Account" >> "Request Statement" >> “Submit” >> Select Date Range >> "Submit".

13. Why is my card not working on ECOM ? 
After you have logged into Prepaid Card NetBanking portal under Manage My Profile tab >> Manage Usage Limits >> Select your Card >> Enable the Ecom service and set daily transaction limit.

14. How can I transfer the balance from old card to new card ?
Kindly liaise with your corporate SPOC Admin, for balance transfer from old card to new card as request should flow to the Bank via Corporate SPOC Admin.

15. Is there any Issuance Fees for Gift Plus card?
Kindly refer to https://www.hdfcbank.com/personal/pay/cards/prepaid-cards/giftplus-card/fees-and-charges  for all fees and charges applicable.

16. How do I replace my card since card is expired and have card balance in it?
Kindly liaise with your corporate SPOC Admin, since for card replacement; request should flow to the Bank via Corporate SPOC Admin.
