How to pay bike insurance online?

With the rampant use of internet and digital banking in today’s times, it has become very easy for anyone to pay bills, do banking transactions from the comfort of their home etc. Likewise, it is very convenient to buy insurance for your bike online.

Given below sample steps to buy bike insurance:

• Go to a third-party website and study in detail about the insurance plans. Compare and zero in on the best deal which is suitable to your budget. Once you have selected the insurance company, click on the same. Type your bike registration number.
• Click on Get Details. A new window will open. Here, a few details regarding your bike are asked. Select bike manufacturer or the make of your bike. Next select Variant. Now type registration year of the bike. If you have held an insurance previously, then select which was your previous insurance type. Now select expired or not expired and click on whichever is your option.
• Click on View quotes. A new window will open. Here, you can view different policy types with the relevant amount alongside. You are given three policy options namely Comprehensive, Zero depreciation, Third Party liability Compare, choose and select any policy, depending upon your budget and need.
• Click on the chosen policy option. Click on Confirm details after selecting your policy and amount option.
• A new window will open wherein you will have to fill in your personal details asked in the order of
• Name
• Phone Number
• Email ID
• Date of birth
• Address
• You will have to select a nominee. Write his name, relation, age.
• Details about your vehicle will be asked. Write your bike number, chassis number, bike registration number, old insurance number, manufacturing date, (You can get the above information regarding your vehicle from the RC book)
• Check details on the page and if everything is ok, click on save and proceed.
• Next, click on pay now option. Here, you will have the option of paying by Debit Card, Credit card, Paytm, etc. Enter the amount to be paid and do the needful payment with which ever option you want.
• Once a successful payment is done, you will receive an email of acknowledgement with the details of your policy number, its expiry date, etc and your Bike Insurance is complete.
