PayZapp Cashpoints are rewards offered to users for making certain transactions using the PayZapp mobile payment application. It is a way to allow users to earn rewards while paying for their daily needs, making your digital payment experience rewarding.

What is a Cashpoint in PayZapp?

Cashpoints are rewards offered under PayZapp, the mobile payment application by HDFC Bank. When you make certain transactions using PayZapp, you can earn Cashpoints. You can use these Cashpoints for payments through the PayZapp application or redeem them. If you choose to redeem the Cashpoints, the Cashpoints will be converted into an equivalent amount of money per the conversion ratio and added to your PayZapp mobile wallet.

The conversion ratio for redeeming Cashpoints is one Cashpoint = ₹1. For example, if you have 50 Cashpoints, you will receive ₹50 after redeeming them.

How to earn PayZapp Cashpoints?

To start earning Cashpoints, you need to use PayZapp for your everyday transactions. Certain transactions made through PayZapp, such as utility bill payments, mobile recharge, grocery shopping, and more, may accrue a specific number of Cashpoints. Here’s how you can earn Cashpoints:

1. When you make a payment, you will find the option to apply a coupon code. Tap on the coupon code option to check for any offer to earn Cashpoint.
   
   

2. If an offer is available, then apply the coupon code and complete the transaction.
   
   

3. Once the transaction is successful, you will receive the Cashpoints which you can view on the dashboard. Cashpoints will be credited to your account within a maximum of 7 days, provided the transaction is successful.
   
   

Note that you must complete the Know Your Client (KYC) verification process to use the PayZapp wallet and redeem your Cashpoints.

You can find details of Cashpoints you earned in the passbook. The number of Cashpoints earned may vary depending on the transactions and ongoing Cashpoint offers. You can check all the available offers by going to the “Cashpoints & offers” section.

How to use PayZapp Cashpoints?

You can either redeem your Cashpoints into wallet balance or use it as an online payment mode for various transactions:

  To redeem Cashpoints in PayZapp, follow these steps:
  
  

1. In the PayZapp app, go to the PayZapp Cashpoints widget displayed on the dashboard. You can also go to the PayZapp menu on the top left corner > Rewards > Cashpoints and Offers.
   
   

2. Tap on ‘Redeem Cashpoints’.
   
   

3. You will find the option to change the number of Cashpoints you want to redeem, conversion ratio details and the value of your Cashpoints. Select the number of Cashpoints you wish to redeem and confirm.
   
   Your redeemed Cashpoints will be transferred to your PayZapp wallet.

  While making payments on the PayZapp app, select the ‘change payment method’ option and choose Cashpoints as the payment method.
  
  Note that transactions using Cashpoints are possible when the number of Cashpoints is equal to or greater than the transaction amount.
