- You cannot add a member to your Priority Pass.
- You can request a Priority Pass for an Add-On Credit Card holder.
Navigating the world of travel benefits can be both exciting and overwhelming. For frequent travellers, the Priority Pass programme stands out as a beacon of comfort and convenience in the bustling airport environment. In this blog, we'll explore how to add a member in Priority Pass, ensuring that your family or friends can also enjoy the myriad of luxuries and efficiencies this programme offers.
Understanding the Programme
Before delving into the addition of a member, it’s crucial to have a clear understanding of what the Priority Pass programme entails. As a Priority Pass member, you gain access to a global network of airport lounges, along with various dining, spa, and workspace options. This programme is designed to make your travel experience more enjoyable, offering a peaceful haven away from the bustling airport crowds.
You can purchase the membership online directly from the Priority Pass website. The website allows you to choose from three annual plans with varying perks. Alternatively, you can get a Credit Card that offers Priority Pass membership as a complimentary perk.
How to Add a Member to the Priority Pass
Note that the Priority Pass is issued to a single individual. If you hold a Priority Pass, you can enjoy the benefits of international airport lounges yourself. You have the option to bring in a guest, however, the same would be chargeable.
Now, if you are a Credit Card holder and your card issuer offers Priority Pass membership, you can share this benefit with an Add-On Credit Card holder. An Add-On Credit Card, also known as a supplementary or a secondary Credit Card, is an additional Credit Card issued under the primary cardholder's account. The primary cardholder is typically the main account holder who applied for and was approved for the Credit Card. The Add-On Card allows the primary cardholder to extend the benefits and privileges of their Credit Card to family members.
How to Apply for a Priority Pass for an Add-On Credit Card Holder?
Typically, you can request a Priority Pass on the card-issuers website. As an HDFC Bank Credit Card holder, you can visit here and fill out the online application form. The Primary card holder and the Add-On Card holder can jointly avail the complimentary access to Priority Pass lounges outside India in a calendar year.
Eligibility for Requesting Priority Pass
Note that Priority Pass membership is upon request. As a Cardholder, you must complete four billed transactions in the last 60 days to be eligible for the Priority Pass membership.
Exploring the Benefits of the Priority Pass Programme
The Priority Pass programme caters to a vast array of needs, making it an ideal companion for both frequent flyers and occasional travellers.
