Eligibility

  • Entry age for proposer is 18 years up to 70 years

  • Children aged 3 months to 25 years can be covered

Exclusions

  • Any Hospitalization for an existing disability from a previous Accident which has occurred prior to the first inception of this Policy .

  • Any stay in Hospital for an Injury due to Accident without undertaking any treatment.

  • Any Hospitalization for Accidental Injury aggravated by an existing disability or pre-existing illness /condition / injury.

  • Any Hospitalization due to an Accidental Injury where the treatment is undertaken by a family member and self medication or any treatment that is not scientifically recognized.

  • Vaccination and inoculation of any kind unless forming part of treatment for Injury due to an Accident as prescribed by the Medical Practitioner.

  • Vitamins and tonics unless forming part of treatment for Injury due to an Accident as prescribed by the Medical Practitioner.

  • Aesthetic treatment, cosmetic surgery and plastic surgery unless necessitated due to Accident or as a part of any Injury.

  • Treatment taken from persons not registered as Medical Practitioners under respective Medical Councils.

  • Any other medical or surgical treatment except as may be necessary solely as a result Injury.

  • Any treatment taken outside India.

  • Whilst engaged in adventure sports, unless specifically covered under the base policy.

  • Dental treatment or surgery of any kind unless as a result of Accidental Bodily Injury to natural teeth and also requiring hospitalization.

  • Experimental, unproven or non-standard treatment.

Is their flexibility in selecting Coverage’s?

Flexibility of choosing the covers. One has to mandatorily choose any one of three sections under base cover for all members, one can also choose two or all three sections. Under optional covers one has the flexibility to choose any number of covers

What is the Cashless Claims Process?

  • Customer approaches Bajaj Allianz Network Hospital for cashless treatment

  • Hospital verifies customer details & sends the Preauthorization Form duly completed, by fax to Bajaj Allianz – HAT (Health Administration Team)

  • Bajaj Allianz – HAT, verifies preauthorization request details with benefits & conveys decision to the provider

Approved

  • Authorization letter is sent to the provider

  • Provider treats the patient without any deposit till discharge

Query

  • Query letter is sent to the provider asking for additional information

  • Required additional information received from the Provider

  • Bajaj Allianz – HAT, verifies preauthorization request details with benefits & conveys decision to the provider

Denial

  • Denial letter is sent to the provider

  • Provider treats patient as cash paying

Customer may file the claim for reimbursement
