Do I receive reminders and alerts from Visa Bill Pay?
Yes, Visa Bill Pay provides you with a number of alerts to help you track your payments due and also the outcome of the payments made by you. As a registered user of Visa Bill Pay you can receive alerts on a new bill being presented to you, outcome of a payment made by you, etc. You would receive these alerts as emails at thee-mail addresses specified by you.
You can set up alerts under the Modify Profile link available to you on the left panel of the screen, once you have logged into the Visa Bill Pay service using your Login ID and password.
As a 'Pay Right Away' customer you would receive an email confirming the outcome of your transaction.
Do I need to register to use the Visa Bill Pay service?
You only need to register for the Visa Bill Pay service when you wish to use and avail the benefits of the Register and Pay service. There are no transaction charges or any other charges for making payments through Visa Bill Pay.
However you can make payments of your bills without registering at Visa Bill Pay, by using the Pay Right Away service. This service allows you to make your payments by providing all the bill details each time you wish to make a payment. You would normally need to have at hand a copy of the bill you wish to pay, to be able to enter the necessary details of your bill payment.
How can I prove I made a payment?
You can track your payments if you need to provide proof of a payment. Your bank or credit card statement will show the charge to your account. The statement will display "Visa Bill Pay” and an identifiable part of the biller name (Eg: Airtel Cell, when you make payments to Bharti Cellular Limited).
In addition you would be supplied an instant online receipt at the time of making the payment. You can store or print this receipt for your reference. You can use the unique transaction ID printed on the receipt to track your payment and resolve any queries or disputes.
By when should I make my bill payments?
To ensure that your payments arrive before a due date and to avoid late payment charges, you need to make your payment at least 3 working days before the bill due date.

Your payment history is stored online for a period of 6 months and can be retrieved by you anytime for reference or record.

Visa Bill Pay uses Secure Socket Layers (SSL) data encryption. Using SSL ensures that the information you exchange with Visa Bill Pay is never transmitted over the Internet unencrypted and cannot be viewed by unauthorized individuals. Visa Bill Pay uses SSL to protect users from unauthorized tampering or viewing of their account and billing information. This encryption is done using 128-bit RC4 encryption. In addition your credit/debit card information is processed over secure gateways that are certified by Visa.
