1. What is Retailio HDFC Bank Credit Card?

Retailio HDFC Bank Credit Card is exclusively offered for Retailio merchants. Retailio in partnership with HDFC Bank is offering this card.

2. What are the key features of Retailio HDFC Bank Credit Card?

• Avail up to 50 days of interest free credit period
• 4 Reward Points for every Rs.150 spend on online
• 2 Reward points for every Rs.150 spend on POS / offline
• 5% cashback on business essentials (capped at Rs. 250 per calendar month)
• Low & flat 1% interest rate on Retailio payments
• Exclusion: No reward points / cashback for Retailio spends, fuel spends & wallet loads. Retailio spends will be identified through Retailio MID/TID.

Reward point redemption:

Accumulated reward points can be redeemed for cashback @ 100 reward points = Rs.20. Minimum 2,500 reward points required for cashback redemption.

Reward points can also be redeemed for exciting gifts and air miles from an exclusive reward catalogue, at the applicable redemption rate.

Reward redemption fee of Rs.99 per request will be applicable on all redemptions.

4. What are other benefits of Retailio HDFC Bank Credit Card?

Activation benefits:

1000 bonus points on activation of card within 90 days from card open date with minimum total spends of Rs.500

Extra gift voucher worth Rs.500 exclusively for RIO club members on activation of card within 90 days from card open date with minimum total spends of Rs.500

Sample Illustration:

When a customer is approved & card opened on 1st Jan’22, the customer has to transact for at least Rs.500 in total within 90 days from the card open date. Post Rs.500 spent within 1st 90 days, the customer will be credited with 1000 reward points and if the cardholder is a RIO club member during the card open date, they will be issued with additional gift voucher worth Rs.500.

Milestone benefits (Calendar Monthly):

500 bonus reward points on spending Rs.25,000 every calendar month

Extra 1500 bonus points exclusively for RIO club members on spending Rs.50,000 every month

Sample Illustration:

When a customer spends Rs.25,000 in the month of Jan’22, cardholder will be credited with 500 reward points.

If the customer is a RIO club member, then upon spending Rs.25,000 in the month of Jan’22, cardholder will be credited with 500 reward points. Also, upon spending Rs.50,000 in the month of Jan’22, cardholder will be credited with 2000 (500+1500) bonus reward points.

Milestone benefits (Quarterly):

2000 bonus points on spending Rs.1,00,000 every calendar quarter.

Extra 5000 bonus points on spending Rs.2,00,000 every calendar quarter exclusively for RIO club members.

Sample Illustration:

When a customer spends Rs.1,00,000 in a calendar quarter (Jan’22 to Mar’22), cardholder will be credited with 2000 reward points.

If the cardholder is a RIO club member, then upon spending Rs.1,00,000 in a calendar quarter (Jan’22 to Mar’22), cardholder will be credited with 2000 reward points. Also, upon spending Rs.2,00,000 in a calendar quarter (Jan’22 to Mar’22), cardholder will be credited with 7000 (2000+5000) reward points in total.

5. How do I generate PIN for my Retailio HDFC Bank Credit Card?

You will need to generate the PIN to activate your card, you can use any of the following ways mentioned below:

6. How do I activate my Retailio HDFC Bank Credit Card for online, contactless and international transactions?

7. Where can I use Retailio HDFC Bank Credit Card?

Retailio HDFC Bank Credit Card can be used both at domestic and international for online, offline and contactless transactions. Once you generate PIN, you can use your card to make payments at any merchant establishment.

8. What is the 1^st year annual fees for the Retailio HDFC Bank Credit Card?

For Retailio HDFC Bank Credit Card, Rs.499 + GST will be levied as 1st year annual fees after 90 days of card open date only if the customer has not activated. Activation requires the cardholder to do total transaction of Rs. 500 within 90 days.

9. What is the renewal fees for the Retailio HDFC Bank Credit Card?

For Retailio HDFC Bank Credit Card, Rs.499 + GST will be levied as card renewal fees only if the customer has not done annual transactions of Rs. 50,000 or above (only non-EMI Spends) in the preceding year. For more information on fees and charges, please refer the below MITC link: MITC in English

10. What is the limit on fuel surcharge waiver?

1% fuel surcharge waiver on eligible fuel transactions (minimum transaction of Rs. 400, maximum transaction of Rs. 5,000 & maximum cashback of Rs. 250 per statement cycle). The surcharge is levied by the acquiring bank providing the terminal to the merchant. The rate of surcharge may vary depending on the fuel station and their acquiring bank. 11. As a cardholder, I am not getting Reward Points on all spends, why so?

Reward Points will not be eligible for the following spends/transactions on the credit card:

• Fuel Spends
• Cash Advances
• Payment of Outstanding Balances
• Payment of card fees and other charges and
• Smart EMI / Dial an EMI transactions
• Wallet loads and
• Retailio payments

12. Can contactless transactions be done on the Retailio HDFC Bank Credit Card?

• Retailio HDFC Bank Credit Card can be enabled for contactless payments (please refer point 6), facilitating fast, convenient and secure payments at retail outlets. (Check for contactless network symbol on the card plastic).

4 Reward Points for all E-com spends and 2 Reward Points for all POS spends on every Rs.150 spent (1 Reward Point = Rs.0.2)

Scenario: Suppose the merchant (cardholder) spends Rs.20000 per calendar month in the E-com category and Rs.10000 per calendar month of POS spends.

Reward Points for E-com Spends = (20000/150)*4 = 533

Reward Points for POS Spends = (10000/150)*2 = 133

Total Reward Points per calendar month = 533+133 = 666

Cashback Offer:

5% cashback on business essentials like utility, telecom, Govt and Tax (capped at Rs.250)

Scenario 1: Suppose the merchant spends Rs.4000 on business essentials

5% of Rs.4000 = Rs.200

Cashback given to merchant = Rs.200

Scenario 2: Suppose the merchant spends Rs.10000 on business essentials

5% of Rs.10000 = Rs.500

Cashback given to merchant = Rs.250 (Capping at Rs.250)
