What are the eligibility criteria to become an ‘Imperia Banking’ customer?

Membership to the HDFC Bank Imperia Programme is by invitation only. To be eligible for the exclusive benefits you need to:

  • Maintain a minimum Average Monthly Balance of Rs.30 Lakhs across all your Savings and Fixed Deposit* accounts.
    OR
  • Maintain an Average Quarterly Balance of Rs.10 Lakhs in your Savings account. OR
  • Maintain an Average Quarterly Balance of Rs.15 Lakhs in your Current account

The requisite balance can be maintained over your accounts and over those of your immediate family members.

*The tenure of the Fixed Deposits should be at least six months.

What are the fees and charges for Imperia Customers?

Product Benefits to Imperia Customers
Demat account Imperia customers can open multiple Demat accounts with the annual Folio Maintenance charges waived.
This waiver is available even if all the Demat a/cs are linked in to a single Savings a/c.
The Folio Maintenance charges will be waived off. They would be debited and then reversed.
Transaction charges are levied at 0.03% instead of 0.04% charged to regular customers. Minimum of Rs 25 per transaction. Demat charges - Rs.5/- per certificate + Rs. 35/- per request - Rs.40/- (min)
Debit Card Imperia customers can avail of the HDFC Bank Imperia Platinum Chip Debit Card for free as long as they are part of the programme. Enhanced limits of Rs.1 lac withdrawal at the ATM and Rs.2.75 lacs at POS & Online. Free Imperia Platinum Chip Debit Card with the following benefits:
(a) 1% CashBack* on shopping
(b) Fuel Surcharge Reversal* across all Fuel Stations.
