How do I purchase movie ticket online?
To book movie tickets, please go through the following procedure:
- Visit the PayMate site at http://movies.paymate.co.in.
- Follow the simple steps of booking by selecting movie, theatre, date etc.
- Complete booking using your HDFC Bank NetBanking Account for payment.
- The ticket amount will be debited from your account and your ticket booking confirmation in the form of a "Booking Id" will be displayed.
- Details of your bookings will be also made available on the e-mail id and on mobile number submitted while booking tickets.

How is HDFC Bank connected with movies.paymate.co.in?
The website movies.paymate.co.in is not connected to HDFC Bank through ownership or management. It is a dedicated site owned and run by "PayMate India Pvt. Ltd." for the benefit of HDFC Bank NetBanking customers. HDFC Bank provides the secure payment gateway to the website via DirectPay.

Do the prices include all taxes and levies and does the customer have to pay anything more at the time of collecting the tickets at the counter?
The prices include all taxes and levies, including the booking charges, which the customer pays in the form of the account getting debited online and pays nothing more at time of collecting the ticket over the counter.

In case entry is not granted into the cinema hall even after quoting the right "Booking Id" what should I do?
In such a case you need to taken a written consent from
that theatre for denying entry and raise it with PayMate

After booking movie tickets online will an e-ticket be generated for me?
No "e-ticket" is generated after booking the movie tickets online; only Booking Id is given post successful transaction and an option of printing the same.
Additionally an e-mail with the booking confirmation is sent to each customer. An "SMS" with the booking reference number is also sent to the customer. The Booking Id needs to be quoted at the counter for procuring your tickets. Please carry an Identification Proof for the same.

After booking my movie tickets online can I cancel the same by any means?
No. There is no facility of canceling the tickets booked by any means.

Do I have to reach the theatre half an hour or an hour earlier to collect my tickets where the payment for the same has been done in advance?
No. The tickets will be available at the counter even after the show has started and can be collected on giving the "Booking Id".

- 25% CashBack is on purchase of 4 or more movie tickets by a
customer using HDFC Bank NetBanking Service.
- 25% CashBack will be on the total amount paid at the time of
a successful booking of the tickets using HDFC Bank NetBanking
Service.
- CashBack offer is valid only on the " First 25 tickets
" booked in a calendar month by the customer using HDFC Bank
NetBanking service. Purchase of 3 or less than 3 tickets in the
calendar month will not be counted amongst the "First 25
tickets" eligible for 25% CashBack.
- This offer is valid for HDFC Bank customers only by booking
tickets by logging onto http://www.paymate.co.in/movies
or http://movies.paymate.co.in/
and paying via HDFC Bank NetBanking only. Customer will not be
eligible for the 25% CashBack offer if he/she opts for using any
other movie portal/site other that the site names defined above
for booking the movie tickets.
- This offer is valid for ANY movie that is available on http://www.paymate.co.in/movies
or http://movies.paymate.co.in/
upto 31st October 2008.
- The offer will be valid on the purchase of 4 or more tickets
in a ‘SINGLE’ transaction only e.g in case 3 tickets
are booked in the first transaction using HDFC Bank NetBanking
Service and immediately two tickets are booked then eligibility
for the offer is not met.
- 25% CashBack amount will be directly credited to the debit
account used for purchasing the movie tickets using HDFC Bank
NetBanking by the Customer.
- Credit to the account will happen in 7 working days from the
date of the purchase of the movie tickets.
- Offer valid from 1st October to 31st October 2008.
- The customer will have to pay the convenience fee as levied
on each ticket.
- Tickets and seat selection are subject to availability at the
theatre.
- Tickets once bought online, shall be considered sold and cannot
be cancelled, refunded or exchanged under any circumstances.
- Once the booking is committed, the confirmation e-mail/SMS
received needs to be exchanged with the ticket at the counter
of the theatre. E-mail/SMS are not the tickets of the movie booked.
- HDFC Bank & PayMate reserves the right to disqualify any
customer from the benefits of the Program. If case of any fraudulent
activity, prosecution will be carried according to the purpose
of availing the benefits under the Program.
- Incase of any disputes, HDFC Bank's decision will be final
and binding.
- The offer is for Resident Indian customers only.
- A customer can avail this facility multiple times until 31st
October 2008 but the offer is limited to "First 25 tickets" as
defined above which will always remain the first criteria.
- This offer cannot be clubbed with any other offer/promotion
on HDFC Bank or PayMate.
- Paymate/HDFC Bank reserves the right to stop the promotion
at anytime and/or change, modify, withdraw, partially withdraw
or extend the said offer at its sole discretion without any prior
notice and no correspondence in this regard shall be entertained.
- Customer making payment for the movie tickets purchased using
HDFC Bank NetBanking service post completion of the selection
criteria has given his/her consent to abide by the above terms

- Any disputes arising out of this offer shall be subject to
