Loan against Fixed Deposits

With HDFC Bank's Loan against Fixed Deposit, you can get an overdraft against your NRE / NRO / FCNR while still retaining ownership.

Deposit Type	OD limit
NRE	90% of the deposit amount or Rs. 1 Crore per depositor, whichever is lower
NRO	90% of the deposit amount
FCNR	70% of the deposit amount or Rs. 1 Crore per depositor, whichever is lower

For interest charged, kindly refer the fixed deposit interest rate.

Overdraft facility can be provided to third party as well up to the maximum permissible amount mentioned above.
