About HDFC Bank EasyKeys

HDFC Bank EasyKeys is a new digital offering from HDFC Bank that lets you do banking transactions using your smartphone's keyboard. With HDFC Bank EasyKeys users can check their account balance, transfer funds, recharge mobile / DTH, pay bills securely without switching apps while continuing to send emails or chatting.

Along with banking transaction, you can use HDFC Bank EasyKeys as your regular mobile keyboard. All you need to do is make HDFC Bank EasyKeys as your default Android keyboard using phone settings and you are ready to experience one of the easiest ways to bank on your mobile.

The HDFC Bank MobileBanking App provides a comprehensive list of banking services. HDFC Bank EasyKeys is a part of the app using which a user can do select set of transactions without the need to switch between apps.
Currently, Mobile / DTH recharge and Bill Payments can only be done for registered billers. Billers can be added using MobileBanking / NetBanking.

Now you can check balance, transfer funds, recharge mobile / DTH, pay bills securely without the requirement of switching apps while you continue to send email or chat on social media.
All you need to do is make HDFC Bank EasyKeys as your default Android keyboard using phone settings and you are ready to start.
  • Login to HDFC Bank EasyKeys using Customer ID/Password or Quick Access PIN
  • Click on Funds Transfer
  • Select the type of transfer (Within HDFC Bank / IMPS using IFSC Code & A/C No./ IMPS using MMID)
  • Select the beneficiary from the available list of beneficiaries
  • Enter Amount to be transferred & add remarks (if any)
  • Enter OTP and confirm
Yes, you can choose the debit account. However, this option will be available only for accounts which have been provided with this facility.
  • Login to HDFC Bank EasyKeys using Customer ID and Password or Quick Access PIN
  • Click on Recharge or Bill Payment option
  • Select the registered biller from the available list of billers
  • Enter Amount
  • Enter OTP (if asked for) and confirm.
In case a transaction fails, it will be reversed.
In such a case, we request you to call our PhoneBanking helpline.
Currently, this service is only for registered billers. The responsibility of entering the correct information lies with the remitter / user creating the request. The Bank cannot be held responsible for checking the correctness of the same.

Step 1 - Setting up your HDFC Bank EasyKeys

  • Update your HDFC Bank MobileBanking App from the Play Store
  • Go to Phone Setting>Language & Input>Current Keyboard>Choose Keyboard>Enable HDFC Bank EasyKeys> Choose Keyboard> Select EasyKeys

Note :
- In case you are unable to see HDFC Bank EasyKeys keyboard, kindly uninstall the existing App and then download HDFC Bank MobileBanking App again.

Step 2 - How to get started?

  • After successfully completing Step 1, you can use HDFC Bank EasyKeys as the default keyboard.
  • To do a banking transaction, tap on the highlighted symbol as shown below :-
  • Authentication - Login with your MobileBanking App Quick Access PIN or Customer ID and Password.
  • Login to HDFC Bank EasyKeys using Customer ID and Password or Quick Access PIN
  • Click on Fund Transfer
  • Select the type of transfer (Within HDFC Bank / IMPS using IFSC Code and A/C No./ IMPS using MMID and Mobile number)
  • Select the beneficiary from the available list of beneficiaries
  • Enter amount to be transferred and add remarks (if any)
  • Enter OTP and confirm
