- Transaction Instructions only from Registered Customers of Investment Services Account would be processed.
- I/We agree and acknowledge that the facility provided herein is presently available in respect of select Mutual Funds only with whom the HDFC Bank has entered into a separate arrangement.
- Registered Customers can only Purchase, Redeem and Switch Mutual Fund units through this service.
- I/We agree and undertake to read all the relevant offer documents and terms and conditions of all schemes of all mutual funds offered through the HDFC Bank, BEFORE entering into any transactions through the HDFC Bank Investment Services Account.
- There may be an Entry and/or Exit Load in Mutual Fund schemes, which is mentioned in the offer document. Please check the same before investing.
- I/We acknowledge that after the first purchase transaction in any Mutual Fund, I/We may not be permitted to transact for a period of 4-7 days business days till the folio number is alloted, depending upon the processing time of the Mutual fund's Registrar. The bank does not accept any liability for delay in processing time at the Mutual fund's or Registrar's end.
- HDFC Bank will process the transaction instruction as it is received and will not validate the same for holdings, correctness of transaction and any other information.
- Transactions once placed cannot be cancelled.
- Purchase instructions shall be processed only after funds sufficient to cover the purchase price and other costs and charges have been received by the HDFC Bank.
- I/We agree and acknowledge that units purchased by giving instructions through Online Mutual Fund Services will be instructed for redemption only through Online Mutual Fund Services.
- HDFC Bank or the concerned Mutual Fund or their respective registrars shall not entertain any offline transaction requests for the purchases made through Online Mutual Fund Services.
- I/We acknowledge that the Asset Management Company shall send to me/us (only to first holder) account statements within 7 working days of the transaction. HDFC Bank shall not send a physical copy of the transaction statement or the accounts statement to the customer.
- HDFC Bank shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused by reason of failure or delay of mutual fund to deliver any units purchased even though payment have been made for the same or failure or delay in making payment in respect of any units sold though they may have been Delivered and we shall save the HDFC Bank harmless and free from any claim in respect thereof.
- HDFC Bank shall not be liable for and I/We shall indemnify the HDFC Bank for any Losses, damages, expenses, costs, liabilities and claims of whatsoever nature caused by fraudulent or unauthorised use of my/our signatures and /or unauthorised use of my /our User ID and Password.
- HDFC Bank will not be liable for any loss, damage, cost, charges or expenses directly or indirectly caused by reasons of any defects or imperfections or mechanical or other failure with relation to computer, cable, telex, telephone or postal system.
- I/We declare that all the details in my/our relationship record are true and correct and any instruction given to you to transact business on my/our behalf shall be in due conformity with the applicable laws as may for the time being be in force. I/we are not US Citizen(s) or resident(s) or greencard holder(s).
- The following is the cut off time details
- Cut-off time for same day NAV Net Asset Value is the market value of the assets of the scheme minus its liabilities. is 1400 hours i.e. 2.00 p.m. (Indian Standard Time). All instructions received on the day of transaction before the cut-off time will be eligible for same day's NAV(except Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays). For transactions received post cut-off time applicable NAV will be as on the next working day
- In case of liquid scheme, transactions done after the 2.00 PM (IST) cut-off time on Thursday but before 2.00 PM (IST) cut-off time on Friday, the NAV for Friday or Sunday would be applicable as per AMC rules for NAV applicability
- In case of liquid scheme, transactions done after the 2.00 PM (IST) cut-off time on Friday or transactions done on any holiday, Saturday or Sunday, the applicable NAV will be of the next working day
- In case of liquid scheme, transactions done before the 2.00 PM (IST) cut-off time on a day prior to a non-working day, the applicable NAV will be of the holiday. (In case of consequent holidays, the last holiday NAV is taken as the Holiday NAV).
- I/We agree and acknowledge that any instruction given or purported to be given by me/us before the cut off time as may be intimated by the HDFC Bank to me/us from time to time, would be processed on the same day. Any instructions received after the prescribed cut off time will be processed on the next working day.
- I/We acknowledge that any transaction request falling due on a holiday would be processed on the next business day and respective NAV would be applicable as per the Mutual Fund's offer document.
- I/We acknowledge that the units of the schemes shall be allotted or redeemed, as the case may be, at the Net Asset Value (NAV) prevalent on the date of the application by the Mutual fund, if the application for purchase or redemption received by the Mutual Fund before the cut-off time as specified by the HDFC Bank and consistent with the terms of the Scheme. However HDFC Bank shall not be liable for any loss that may arise to me/us as a result of the incorrect NAV applied on units allotted to me/us by the Mutual Fund.
- I/we agree and declare that any and all tax liability will be my/our sole responsibility.
- I/we have read and understand the terms and conditions applicable to the HDFC Bank's Investment Services Scheme and agreed to be bound by the said terms and conditions and including those excluding/limiting your Liability.
- I/We undertake to make the applicants to the investments aware of the provisions of this agreement and the same will be binding on the applicants by use of the facility provided herein.
- It is explicitly stated herein that the Mutual Fund schemes offered online, have not been recommended by HDFC Bank.
- Neither HDFC Bank, nor any of the Mutual Funds shall be liable for any failure to perform its obligations, to the extent that such performance has been delayed, hindered or prevented by systems failures, network errors, delay or loss of data due to the above and in circumstances of acts of God, floods, epidemics, quarantine, riot or civil commotion and war.
- HDFC Bank shall provide its services on a best effort basis. However HDFC Bank shall not be liable for failure of the system or for any loss, damage or other costs arising in any way out of:
- System failure including failure of ancillary or associated systems, or fluctuation of power, or other environmental conditions; or
- Accident, transportation, neglect, misuse, errors, frauds of the clients or agents or any third party; or
- Any fault in any attachments or associated equipment of the clients; or
- Any incidental, special or consequential damages including without limitation of loss of profit.
- Investments from residents in the United States of America and Canada are not permitted in certain mutual funds. HDFC Bank shall not be liable for rejections of such applications by Mutual Funds, where investor is an US and Canada resident.
The client further agrees to indemnify HDFC Bank for any loss that may arise as a result of system failure, accident or any of the reasons mentioned above.
