So go ahead, and mail in your account related requests to the local PO Box address in your country.

You no longer have to incur expensive courier charges to send us account instructions. All you need to do is simply mail your instruction to a local PO Box in your country overseas. Whats more??? you can avail this facility free of charge.

This PO Box service is provided free of charge. Please refer to the Schedule of Service Charges for charges applicable for individual instructions / requests.

Instructions:

Please ensure that you mention your Name, Customer Id and Account number with each request.
On receipt of your request, an acknowledgement email will be sent to you on the email id maintained on the Bank records. We will not be in a position to act on your request if an email id is not available on the Bank records.
Please write to nri@hdfcbank.com in case you need to send instruction apart from those listed above.
The indicative delivery schedule for documents dispatched through the PO Box is approximately 10-12 days for US and 8-10 days for other locations. Reference to any service levels including the delivery schedule are only indicative and should not be construed to refer to any commitment.

Caution
Please do not send any other document or instruction, including, but not limited to, Cheques, Demand Drafts or cash using the PO Box. HDFC Bank reserves the right to destroy such instruments or return them back to you, at its discretion. Only the above listed requests will be accepted by the NRI Service Desk through the PO Box.
