Important Instructions for the Final Written Test

  • Atleast 1 Parent / guardian need to accompany the participant for the final written test
  • The participant should be present at the test center at least 2 hours prior to the time for the test. There will be a registration process and validation of the documents which the participant needs to carry for the final written test. The test schedule and other timings will be strictly adhered to
  • For the Final Written Test, you will need to carry documents listed below -
    a.  Mark-sheets of last two years' final examinations attended (academic year 2007-08 and 2008-09)
    b.  Certificates (maximum of 3 best certificates, if any) of achievements in any extra curricular activity (includes any games/ sports, performing/ fine / literary arts, or other extra-curricular activities) received from any government authorized body or educational institute during the academic year 2007-08 and 2008-09.
    c.  Certificate (only 1, if any) specifying his/her participation / contribution to social service
    d.  Current year school identity card or diary (with participant's photograph) clearly showing their standard / class.
    Weightage will be given to the certificates and academic scores submitted along with the final written test scores to determine the winners

  • Participants should carry one set of photocopy along with the originals of all certificates / documents mentioned above for verification purpose. A photocopy of all the above mentioned documents needs to be submitted at the venue
  • In addition to the above documents, the participant also needs to carry a Hall Ticket. The link for the hall ticket has been attached in the mail. For a valid hall ticket, the following process needs to be followed:
    1. Click here
    2. Download and print the hall ticket
    3. Paste a recent photo of yourself on the printed hall ticket
    4. Get the hall ticket stamped and attested by the Principal/ Dean / any other school authority, of your school. Please note that the school stamp and signature has to be affixed in a manner that half impression must be on the participant's photo.
    Please note that the school stamp and signature is mandatory. Participant will not be allowed to appear for the test without a valid Hall ticket.

  • The test needs to be given in only non-erasable, blue or black. ball point pens.
  • A question paper comprises 50 multiple choice questions and the participant needs to attempt the same in the allotted time of 60 minutes. The participant would be required to tick the right choice of answer in the space provided. Sample question paper, along with answer sheet format is available on www.hdfcbank.com/meritus
  • There are no negative marks for un-attempted / wrong answers.
  • Student and Parent/Guardian must sign on the registration form (given at the venue) prior to entering the test centre
  • Participant must sign on the attendance sheet in the test room.
  • The participant needs to present the valid Registered Telephone Number as mentioned in the registration form along with the participant`s identification(School ID Card/School Diary) and Hall ticket duly attested by the school, to appear for written test
  • If the participant forgets to carry any / all the certificates / mark sheets, weightage for the certificates / mark sheets not submitted will not be given.
  • Participants should not carry any electronic equipment (e.g. calculator, watches with calculators, etc) for the test.
  • Cell phones will not be permitted inside the examination hall
  • Parents, friends, guardians, etc are not permitted into the examination hall
  • Participant will not be permitted to leave the center within 15 minutes of start time
  • Participant would need to come to the venue at his/her own cost for written test
  • If case due to any activity or event beyond management's control, the test center or city is unavailable, HDFC Bank has the rights to postpone/ cancel/ reschedule the test
