1. Can the User ID set be modified?
Once the User ID is set, it cannot be modified. Hence, we would request that you choose your user ID carefully.
2. What are the validations for selecting a User ID?
A. It should be between 5 - 15 characters.
B. It can be purely alphabetical or alpha-numeric. However, it cannot be purely numeric.
3. What do I do if I have forgotten my Personalised User ID?
A. Login to NetBanking using your Customer ID & IPIN.
B. Click on Personalised User ID on the top right corner next to SmartBuy.
C. You will be able to see your selected User ID.
4. What do I do if I have forgotten my Personalised User ID as well as Customer ID?
A. You will have to first retrieve your Customer ID by clicking on "Forgot Customer ID" link.
B. Once the Customer ID is retrieved, the same can be used to login to NetBanking along with your IPIN.
C. You may then click on Personalised User ID on the top right corner next to SmartBuy to view your User ID.
5. If I am shopping on a website and I need to make my payments through NetBanking, do I enter my Personalised User ID or Customer ID?
You can login with either your Personalised User ID or Customer ID & IPIN.
6. Does my User ID replace my existing Customer ID?
Your Customer ID and User ID will exist simultaneously. You can use your User ID only for logging onto NetBanking. For your queries at the Branch, PhoneBanking Team, Email Management Team, you will have to quote your Customer ID.
