Please note :
1) The cheques pertaining to Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) transactions should not be deposited in the box.
2) All cheques deposited for booking FCNR deposits, will be purchased immediately on receiving the credit in out NOSTRO account.
3) Cheques deposited for an amount upto US$ 5000/- for booking NRE Term deposit, will be purchased immediately on receipt of the NOSTRO credit. In the event of the cheques deposited getting returned, the bank will have complete recourse to the funds including conversion losses.
4) In the case of cheques purchased for booking NRI term deposits, the deposits will be held under lien until completion of the collection period.
5) All fields in the cheque deposit slip are mandatory and need to be completely filled up.
6) The deposit slip is meant for foreign currency cheques only. Customers are requested NOT to deposit Indian Rupee INR cheques in the FCY cheque box.
